![]() Crocodiles have by and large remained unchanged since the age of the dinosaurs. The Nile crocodile is an adoptable animal in Wildlife Park and is available in the base game. Although they hunt alone, Nile crocodiles are quite social and will often gather in groups to bask. Their large jaws can produce one of the strongest bite forces in the animal kingdom, preventing its prey from escaping while the crocodile drowns it. They typically wait by the water's edge and ambush prey as they come down to drink, sometimes waiting for weeks. Like most crocodiles, Nile crocodiles are opportunistic ambush hunters that will eat anything they can catch, from fish and insects to large ungulates. ![]() The Nile crocodile can be found throughout sub-Saharan Africa in a wide range of aquatic habitats and is believed to be the most common crocodile on the continent. Males can reach a length of up to 5 meters (16.4 feet), but larger specimens have been reported. The Nile Crocodile is believed to be the second-largest extant member of the crocodile family. ![]() The Nile Crocodile is a large African reptile that is adoptable in all three Wildlife Park games.
